About this edition

The 2026 Winter Session focuses on leading developments in quantum Shannon theory powered by AI. It brings together researchers exploring how AI can help resolve longstanding questions about communication over quantum channels and the resources that make it possible.

Discussions will span channel capacities and additivity, private communication and superactivation, entanglement distillation and cost, and strong converse bounds. Alongside these advances, we will examine AI-assisted discovery and formal verification, with an emphasis on rigorous results and open problems.
